Lower School – Grades K through 3

academics - lower elemIn line with our school’s mission, Lower School helps to foster a love of learning that should continue throughout a student’s academic career. The environment is nurturing and allows each student to maintain an appropriate individual identity. Linked to the love of learning pillar of our mission statement is preparation for college. With this in mind, our curriculum has been crafted so that students are challenged with above grade level work that causes them to explore, and soar above that which is average. Students also acquire critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Spanish is a part of our core curriculum instruction. Students also participate weekly in our fine arts program, physical education program, and a variety of clubs that help keep them academically focused while having lots of fun. Computer labs are located in both the Elementary and Primary buildings to provide internet access and computer literacy instruction.
