Introduction to the Parents’ Organization:

1. What is The Canterbury Episcopal School Parents’ Organization?
The Parents’ Organization was formed to serve the best interests of Canterbury by supporting the school’s mission, programs, and activities. The Parents’ Organization builds positive school spirit; nurtures communication; helps with classroom, administrative, social, and athletic needs on a volunteer basis; and raises funds in conjunction with school-wide development policies and programs.

2. How do I become a member of the Parents’ Organization?
All parents and guardians of the children attending The Canterbury Episcopal School (CES) are members. The Parents Organization plays a vital part in creating and maintaining a positive sense of community at CES.  It is hoped that each parent/guardian will be an active member, and be willing to help when called upon.

3. What are some of the events for which the Parents’ Organization is responsible?

Some past events include: uniform swaps, Secret Santa program, drivers for field trips and community service, athletic concessions and games, visual and performing arts programs, the annual Gala, SCRIP. Many other volunteer opportunities arise during the year.
