The Canterbury Episcopal School wants all students to be successful and to maximize their potential. As such, we wish to accelerate instruction as appropriate to the student needs. Canterbury offers Advanced Placement classes that allow for credit to even the most prestigious colleges and universities.
Canterbury is pleased to partner with TTUISD and Mountain View College to offer extended educational opportunities to its Upper School students.
Through this partnership, Canterbury students may take:
1) up to 3 required courses for CES graduation through TTUISD or Mountain View College dual credit;
2) unlimited remedial courses on-line or at Mountain View;
3) unlimited non-required courses.
All arrangements for signing up for the courses, arranging for the exams and payments are between the family and the course-supplying institution.
The Dean of Students or Head of School shall proctors all exams in the Bishops office. All courses completed in these ways are put in a special box on the Canterbury transcript and not included in the student's GPA.
